Born in Senegal (West Africa) Thialy Sow moved to Paris with his parents at the age of 8, leaving friends and relatives to make the 2,500 mile journey to further his education. Thialy went on to study a masters degree in film editing and is now working as a Feature Film Editor sharing his time between London and Paris.

Shot on location in Greece by Daniel Jaems, the campaign features Thom wearing the iconic ‘Gigolo Joe’ briefs, classic ‘Leon’ briefs and the soon-to-launch beachwear line.

Set against an unforgiving terrain, Thom’s sporty physique and masculine sex appeal personifies D.HEDRAL’s product design and aesthetic.

ABOUT THOM EVANS

Thom Evans was a Scottish international rugby union player until the age of 24, when on his tenth appearance for Scotland on 13th February 2010, he suffered a career changing neck injury playing against Wales.

Thom began his rugby career representing England at U16, U18 and U21 levels before committing to Scotland. He earnt his first cap for Scotland playing against Argentina in 2008 and went on to be selected for the pre Six Nations 30 man squad for the 2008 Six Nations.

Having survived an injury that could have seen him paralysed, Thom retired from rugby and went straight back to his passion – sport, becoming a sprinter.

Thom is now pursuing modelling after signing with Select Models in London, and acting after being approached by a top agent in LA. D.HEDRAL is Thom’s first international advertising campaign.
